Welcome to the eLIPS consultation page

You will have encountered eLIPS through your work in Fife and will already be familiar with the observational approach used in eLIPS to understand the language development of young children during play. The research behind eLIPS is a partnership between Fife Council and Dundee University to help early years educators tackle the language difficulties that are barriers to learning, social inclusion and well being.

eLIPS has been used in Fife early years settings since 2017 and we would value your feedback on your experiences of using the tool. In particular, we are interested in learning more about your opinion on three  topics:

1. further training opportunities that you would find helpful
2. feedback on features of the tool to assist with the future development of eLIPS
3. input about follow-up activities that would assist you in supporting children to meet their next steps
