How does this website work?
This page provides the links to a number of eLIPS training pages. Scrolling through each page, you will find information about how to undertake eLIPS observations in practice. There will be text explaining individual steps, as well as example videos and practice videos. We will explain at every stage, how to use the provided information and there will be opportunities for you to practice eLIPS observations.

Where should I get started?
For eLIPS beginners: If you have not worked with eLIPS before, we suggest you start at Page 1. You don’t need to complete the full training in one go, you can split it into manageable chunks. We would suggest to complete one full page in one session, though, to improve understanding.
To refresh your memory: Page 1 will remind you of how to use eLIPS, Page 2 provides basic examples and Page 3 more complex situations; if you are looking for specific answers, try the FAQ on Page 5.
To use eLIPS with 2-year-olds for the first time: Even if you have confidently used eLIPS with children aged 3 years and older before and are now starting to implement the tool with younger children, we would suggest reviewing the information on pages 1-3 to refresh your memory. Then work through the new information on Page 4.
